First snow of the season

Obviously these people don't live in unincorporated St. Louis county....only 7% rated "it was pretty poor" and 5% rated "it was terrible."

My street/subdivision is a mess. I slid turning onto the highway 44 outer road. Yesterday when I was shoveling snow in the driveway a salt truck/snow plow went by and didn't even have his plow down on the pavement and wasn't leaving a salt trail behind him.

Snow is only "fun" when it means you get a bonus day off of work.

Actually, the plow went by not once but twice yesterday afternoon. Not sure what the County thinks just driving around does, but it certainly didn't do anything around here.

The irony of the whole snow situation was that after the morning snow, our street was completely cleared. Unfortunately, the County never caught up with the evening's snow, and then they seem to have forgotten that anything had ever happened.

Way to go, Charlie Dooley. Can't wait to vote against you!

Yea, some of the streets in our subdivision are clear. The bottom of the hill and that stretch of road is ice and its not fun. The parking at work is covered in snow and ice. We park on the gravel, so its messed up, but the pavement is clean. The thing with clearing of the streets, is that highways get first priority and then subdivision streets. Usually they suck at getting our street clean, they did a better job than expected this time around. Otherwise I am loving this snow!!! A whole 7 freaking inches!!
